I am available to work at parties or special events drawing portraits. I require a subject to sit for me for about 10 minutes and when we are done they will have an original piece of artwork to take home.
THE PORTRAITS - Each portrait is drawn in graphite on on a 5 1/2" x 8" piece of 140 lb watercolor paper. Keep in mind these are not caricatures, but more realistic looking portraits. You can see a few samples below:
Each finished piece is packaged in an 8" x 10" sealed clear plastic sleeve for protection. Matboard is in the sleeve as well to prevent bending.
PRICING - I charge $65 per hour for my portrait drawing services. I can complete approximately 5 - 6 portraits per hour and can draw adults or children.
SUPPLIES - I bring most of my own supplies. From the event host I would just need two chairs - one for me and one for the subject - and access to an electrical outlet for a light.
PAYMENT - If you are interested in hiring me for an event I will have you sign a proposal and contract agreeing to terms of my services as well as payment terms. I do ask for a 30% deposit upon scheduling my services with the remaining balance due the night of the event upon completion of my contracted time. A small additional fee may be incurred for travel depending upon the destination of event.
